Được vẽ minh họa bởi Kippu (Nourin), Taimadou Gakuen 35 Shiken Shoutai tái hiện lại một thế giới mà ở đó việc sử dụng pháp thuật đang dần bị thay thế bởi những khẩu súng. Để săn lùng nốt những phù thủy cuối cùng, các Thanh Tra Ma Pháp đã sáng lập nên Học Viện Taimadou (Phòng Ma Pháp). Nhân vật chính của chúng ta, Takeru Kusanagi, là một học sinh chỉ biết sử dụng kiếm, cũng chính là người chỉ huy tiểu đội thứ 35 của học viện trên. Tiểu đội “dở hơi” này vốn nổi danh là tập hợp của những thành phần bất hảo nhất trong Taimadou. Nhưng điều đó chỉ kéo dài cho đến khi có sự xuất hiện của một cô gái xinh đẹp, với kĩ năng sử dụng súng lục thần sầu có tên là Ouka Ootori.
